NEET-UG Qualification

• AIIMS admissions are now based entirely on NEET-UG scores.
• Only candidates who qualify NEET-UG and meet the required cutoff are eligible for counselling.

MCC Counselling Registration

• AIIMS seats are allocated through MCC counselling.

• Steps to Register:
  • Visit the MCC website: www.mcc.nic.in
  • Create an account using your NEET Roll Number and Application Number.
  • Pay the counselling fees:
    • Non-Refundable Registration Fee
      • ₹1,000 (General / OBC / EWS)
      • ₹500 (SC / ST / PwD)
    • Refundable Security Deposit
      • ₹10,000 (General / OBC / EWS)
      • ₹5,000 (SC / ST / PwD)
  • Upload required documents such as NEET scorecard, ID proof, and related certificates.

• Reservation Policy:
  • 27% seats for OBC

Choice Filling and Locking

• After registration, candidates must fill in their choices for AIIMS campuses in order of preference.
• Key Points:
  • You can select multiple AIIMS campuses.
  • Arrange them according to your priority.
  • Lock your choices before the deadline, or they will be automatically locked by MCC.

Seat Allotment

• MCC conducts seat allotment in multiple rounds.
• Rounds of Counselling:
  • Round 1: Initial allocation based on NEET rank, category, and preferences.
  • Round 2: For candidates who were not allotted a seat or opted for an upgrade.
  • Mop-Up Round: Conducted for vacant seats after Round 2.
  • Stray Vacancy Round: Conducted directly by AIIMS campuses for leftover seats.
• Options After Seat Allotment:
  • Accept (Freeze): Confirm the seat and proceed for admission.
  • Upgrade (Float): Retain the current seat while waiting for a better option in the next round.
  • Decline: Reject the seat and exit counselling.

Reporting to Allotted AlIMS Campus

• After seat allotment, candidates must report to the allotted AIIMS campus for the following:

  • Document Verification: Carry original documents for verification.
  • Medical Examination: Candidates must undergo a fitness test.
  • Fee Payment: Pay the admission fee (approximately 1350 annually).

  • Class 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates
  • Birth Certificate
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)

Admission Fees

• AIIMS MBBS tuition fees are highly subsidized:
  • Tuition Fee: ₹1,135 per year
  • Hostel Fee: ₹990 per year
  • Other Charges: ₹503 annually
• Total Cost: Approximately ₹1350 per year

Counselling Rounds Timeline

• Round 1 Registration and Choice Filling: Announced after NEET results.
• Seat Allotment Result: Declared within a week after choice filling.
• Subsequent Rounds: Follow a similar process with adjusted deadlines.

Post-Counselling
